NEXT EVENT--June 27, 2010, 10a-1p, - Annual Summer Picnic/Vizsla Spring Olymics/RMVC General Membership Meeting. Come out and enjoy a lazy summer afternoon in Ft. Collins with your fellow club members. Connie is again, generously welcoming the RMVC and our red dogs to enjoy her pastures and pond. There's plenty of space for the Vizslas (and their humans!) to run, play, and swim. We'll start the day with a few games--winner is crowned "RMVC's SuperV of 2010!". Then, we'll chill out...eat good grub...visit with good folks...and laugh at good dogs.

Oh yeah--and we're planning to C-E-L-E-B-R-A-T-E our shiny, new AKC LICENSED TITLE!!! This licensing means we are the Specialty Club of Colorado: licensed to hold conformation shows, rally, obedience, field trials, and hunting tests!! WAAA-HOOO!!!!

April 17, 2010, 8:30a- 5p, Quail Run Sports - 2nd A Match (HUNTING TEST & FIELD TRIAL)/RMVC General Membership Meeting. Members Janice Branam and Erica Sparrow will be our event secretaries again (thanks ladies!!). Download the hunting test premium and the field trial premium. Entries are limited--get yours in ASAP! Entries close 6:30pm, April 15th.

March 20, 2010, Copper Mountain, Arrival time 12 p.m. - Snowshoe with Your Vizsla Adventure/RMVC General Membership Meeting. Space is limited, RSVP ASAP to Mike Neff, m_neff@wispertel.net. February 11, 2010, (judging to start at 6pm) - RMVC Conformation, Obedience and Rally A-Match Events (2nd) held in conjunction with the Rocky Mountain Cluster Dog Shows at the National Western Stock Show Complex, 4655 Humboldt, Denver, CO, 80216. DOWNLOAD THE ENTRY. DOWNLOAD THE PREMIUM. Entries due Feb. 9 by 6pm.

WHEW!! What a busy weekend for the RMVC! First, our final conformation/rally/obedience A Match went off without a hitch thanks to Randy Sullivan and Ginger Sammonds! Thanks to all who entered and supported our event--this was a critical piece in our path to AKC licensing for the RMVC.

Thank you for volunteering to ring steward at the Rocky Mountain Cluster shows in order to raise funds for the RMVC. Thank you, thank you for your GENEROSITY!! Shoutouts to volunteers: Katie Cullum, Aaron Davis, Judy Hetkowski, Heather Jackson, Amy Johnson, Jim & Cindy Mueller, Mike Neff, Michelle Petersen, Mel Reveles, Erica Sparrow, Randy Sullivan, Nick Warwick, and Christi Uhrig.

AND, BIG THANKS to Andrea & Lindsay Rasizer, and Mike Neff for working our "Meet the Breed" booth on Valentine's Day! We had quite a bit of traffic by those curious about our wonderful breed. Vizslas Nico, Amante, Monty, and Trip were on hand to demo the exhuberance of a Vizsla! As you can imagine, they took their jobs seriously. :-)

CONGRATULATIONS to RMVC Members and their Vizslas for their big wins and and qualifies over the weekend! We hope the exhibitors enjoyed their rosettes and prizes from the RMVC's 2nd Annual Supported Entry on Saturday, Feb 13th.

The RMVC will be offering prizes for Vizslas winning Best of Breed, Best of Opposite Sex, Winners Dog, Winners Bitch and Best Bred by Exhibitor.
